On today’s rescue run, we were able to save several adult dogs and cats and a litter of puppies. Named after Charlie’s Angels, these not so heavenly smelling pups needed medical attention and personalize care…starting with a loving bath! The public shelter contacted ARF, knowing we had the medical staff and foster teams available to care for the delicate pups. Today, we are happy to say Jill, Bosley and Sabrina are now all safe with full bellies. Can we count on your help to rescue more puppies and kittens through your support of Animals on Broadway?

This fun-filled festival and important Pet Walk is on Sunday, May 19 and an exciting way to save lives. I encourage you to create a walk team (or a virtual walk team) with your friends or coworkers or consider a gift to the Pet Walk to help rescue more animals like these little angels.  With every donation we receive, we are reminded of two things: first, why we work tirelessly to help heal those without a voice and to find them a new home. Second, how humbled we are by our community’s generosity. In times like these, we all have many demands on our resources, and 87 cents of every dollar goes directly to ARF’s life-saving programs.

Please consider a donation to our Animals on Broadway Pet Walk https://arf.donordrive.com/participant/eBicker so we may help more. Please be sure to include your pet’s name so I may wear it on my pet walk t-shirt in recognition of your gift.

Hope to see you at Animals on Broadway!

Elena Bicker
Executive Director

P.S. Each rescue run cost is approximately a $1,000 and is only accomplished through the support of our friends, no gift is too small!
